Homemade Pumpkin Mini Muffins for Cats
Pumpkins are incredibly versatile—delicious in pies, pancakes, sauces, and even lattes. And yes, cats can enjoy pumpkin too! Just be sure to use plain, cooked pumpkin (not pumpkin pie filling, which contains added sugars and spices that aren’t safe for cats). If you’re looking for a special, wholesome treat that goes beyond the ordinary, try these adorable homemade pumpkin mini muffins.

Created by recipe developer, cookbook author, and food blogger Alison Lewis, these treats look just like the cozy pumpkin muffins from your favorite café—complete with a tender crumb and that irresistible, slightly crisp top. Because let’s be honest: the muffin top is where the magic happens!

Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F. Line your mini muffin pan with paper liners.

- Add the baking powder and salt to the oat flour and whisk until evenly combined.
- Pour the pumpkin mixture into the dry ingredients. Gently whisk just until no streaks remain—avoid overmixing.
- Using a small cookie scoop or teaspoon, portion the batter into the lined muffin cups, filling each about two-thirds full.
- Gently tap the pan on the counter to level the batter and release air bubbles.
- Bake for 12–15 minutes, or until the tops are lightly golden and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
