As a FurPetVo member, you’re part of a growing global movement rooted in trust, kindness, and mutual care. You’re not just arranging pet care—you’re helping pets stay happy and comfortable at home, giving pet parents peace of mind, and enriching travel experiences for pet lovers everywhere.

We’re thrilled to share that FurPetVo now has over 160,000 members—the largest community we’ve ever had—and more than 50,000 sits have already been confirmed this year. This growth means more opportunities for everyone: more sits posted, more owners finding the perfect sitter, and more sitters confirming meaningful, rewarding stays.

Community & Innovation: What’s New at FurPetVo

Our community forum—launched in 2021—has grown into a vibrant hub for connection, support, and co-creation. It recently crossed an incredible milestone: over 10,000 active members! Beyond friendship and advice, the forum has become a vital channel for your feedback—and we’ve been listening closely.

Here are six key improvements we’ve rolled out (or are rolling out) based on your input:

  1. Amenities section for owner listings: Owners can now highlight features like high-speed Wi-Fi, pet-friendly gardens, or cozy king-sized beds. This helps sitters quickly assess fit—and makes listings stand out.
  2. Public transport filter: We’ve replaced the vague “Do sitters need a car?” question with clear “Accessible by public transport” or “Not accessible by public transport” tags. This filter is now live on furpetvo.com (with mobile app integration coming soon).
  3. Mandatory references for new sitters: To strengthen trust and credibility, all new sitters must now request at least one reference—and we’ve simplified the process for referees to respond.
  4. Enhanced member support: Our Membership Services team has grown by more than 50%. We’ve also upgraded self-help tools and introduced live chat and email support. Coming soon: a new 24/7 urgent support line for time-sensitive questions.
  5. Member survey insights: Our recent survey revealed strong satisfaction across the board—85% of sitters and 87% of owners reported overall happiness with their FurPetVo experience. These results remain consistent with last year’s feedback.
  6. Review system revamp: One of our most requested features is underway. Our product team has begun redesigning the review system to make it more transparent, meaningful, and reflective of real-world experiences. We’ll share progress as it unfolds!
