Storage & Feeding Tips
Store leftover treats in an airtight container in the refrigerator—and serve within two to three days.
This recipe was reviewed by a licensed veterinarian. It’s intended as an occasional treat—not a meal replacement. Treats should make up no more than 10% of your dog’s daily caloric intake (less for overweight or health-compromised dogs). For example, if your dog needs 200 calories per day, limit treats to 20 calories or fewer. Overfeeding treats—even healthy ones—can lead to nutrient imbalances or weight gain.
If your dog has allergies, sensitivities (especially to fats or dairy), or underlying health concerns, always check with your veterinarian before offering new foods.
