For Melanie and Denis, their beloved feline Theo wasn’t just a pet—she was family. The couple brought Theo with them when they relocated from South Africa to England nearly a decade ago. “Our decision to visit our family for Christmas, for the first time in five years, was stressful for us, as we didn’t want Theo to be stressed by our long absence,” Denis explains.
