Pomsky’s Hilarious Tale of Getting Into Mischief at 2 AM Is Epic

If your pets sleep in the room with you at night, you know they’ll sometimes try to hop into bed for a snuggle. That’s exactly what Zeus the Pomsky had in mind—but things didn’t go quite as planned. Zeus’ humans shared a video in mid-March capturing his 2 AM antics, and the whole story had us laughing out loud!

Zeus starts by insisting he didn’t mean for any of it to happen. His dad got up for a middle-of-the-night potty break—and Zeus, fast asleep, didn’t realize his human had quietly returned to bed. When Zeus decided it was snuggle time and leapt up, he landed—well, let’s just say *exactly* where he didn’t intend to. As Zeus puts it: “the balls I wish I still had.” Turn up your sound—the storytelling is even funnier when you hear it straight from him!

We laughed all the way through his tale! It’s clear Zeus drifted back to sleep between his dad’s trip to the bathroom and his return to bed. We totally get why mom was less than amused—imagine waking up to your partner yelling right beside you! One commenter, @Karen Milligan Sanfor, nailed it: “Prayers for Dad’s jewels LOL!”

Do Pomskys Make Good Pets?

When choosing a pet, many people are drawn first to looks—and there’s no denying Pomskys are irresistibly adorable. Just look into Zeus’ expressive eyes! But beyond the charm, do Pomskys truly make great companions? The short answer is yes.

Pomskys are a crossbreed between the spirited Pomeranian and the striking Siberian Husky. They’re small to medium-sized dogs, typically weighing 20–30 pounds as adults. They’re affectionate, playful, and deeply loyal to their families. Their protective nature makes them excellent watchdogs—they’ll bark confidently at anything they perceive as a threat (real or imagined!).

Huskies were bred for endurance and purpose, so it’s no surprise Pomskys inherit high energy levels. If you prefer quiet evenings on the couch, a Pomsky may not be your ideal match. They thrive on activity—long walks, interactive play, and mental challenges keep them happy and well-behaved. Left bored, they’ll find creative (and sometimes destructive) ways to entertain themselves: chewing furniture, barking for fun, or rearranging your living room one sock at a time.

On the bright side, Pomskys are highly intelligent and eager to learn—making them responsive to training. They generally get along beautifully with children and other pets when socialized early.

Like any breed, Pomskys come with pros and cons. Before bringing one home, do thorough research—and if possible, talk to real FurPetVo community members who own Pomskys. Their firsthand insights are invaluable. And one practical note: Pomskys are considered a designer breed and tend to carry a higher price tag than many established breeds. With so many wonderful dog breeds out there, take your time choosing the right fit for your lifestyle and home.
