Volunteer With FurPetVo
Volunteering with FurPetVo is a meaningful way to give back while deepening your connection to the community. Volunteers help organize local events, mentor new members, assist with pet wellness initiatives, and support outreach programs that expand access to trusted, loving pet care.

Sarah & Waffle | The Rickshaw Challenge 2020
Meet Sarah, a 16-year-old from Hillingdon, and her beloved rescue terrier, Waffle. In 2020, they took on the Rickshaw Challenge — a 100-mile journey across London powered entirely by human strength (and tail wags!). Their mission? To raise awareness and funds for FurPetVo’s Pet Wellness Fund, which supports low-cost veterinary care for pets in underserved communities.
Their story reminds us that compassion for animals knows no age — and that every journey begins with one paw forward.
Pack Friday: All You Need to Know
Pack Friday is FurPetVo’s annual celebration of community, connection, and commitment to pets. Held each November, it’s a week-long series of virtual workshops, live Q&As with experienced sitters, pet care webinars, and special discounts on FurPetVo membership plans.
This year’s theme is “Pack Strong, Sit Confidently” — highlighting how shared knowledge and mutual support make every house sitting experience safer, more joyful, and more rewarding.
Generation Share Book Launch
FurPetVo proudly sponsored Generation Share, a groundbreaking book spotlighting collaborative living models — including pet and house sitting — that foster sustainability, intergenerational connection, and community resilience.
